What will be expected of me?
- Be at the heart of the engineering process, validating the quality of software while empowering engineers to develop and deliver with speed and quality
- Collaborate with product managers, development engineers, business analysts to build and validate the quality of software by building new automation tests and enhancing existing automation tests to enable business value through software
- Reviews and translates requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback to product developers
- Creates, maintains and executes automation test scripts
- Analyzes automation results and investigate failures
- Designs detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases
What you bring:
- 5+ years’ work experience in software development
- 5+ years’ experience in software quality assurance
- Experience with automation and test management tools and frameworks
- Strong knowledge of software development and QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and automated test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
Education and Competencies:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Entrepreneurial spirit and collaboration skills
