Responsibilities
- Work closely as a part of an Agile team with QA, Development and Product
- Gather test requirements, assess risk areas and convert these to test cases
- Contribute to feature testing and defect management
- Participate in smoke, regression and ad-hoc testing
- Develop a deep understanding of our domain and testing tools
- Develop expertise in the various applications offered by ZoomInfo
- Define test strategies, analyze test results and validate functionality
- Offer tradeoffs, quantify risks and provide mitigation strategies
- Provide documentation and training
- Work in partnership with the engineering team to improve processes across the Software Development Life Cycle
- Contribute to general engineering practice improvement efforts
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Understanding of n-tier architecture and related testing strategies
- Experience writing test cases and testing software in a complex domain
- Experience testing web and mobile applications
- Knowledge of build tools and CICD
- Knowledge of SQL / RDBMS
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable working with Linux
- Experience working with distributed systems such as Hadoop or Cassandra
- Knowledge of Spring/Hibernate
