Define and develop testing requirements to validate software was built to specifications. Submit test plans, test reports for review and feedback. Design and prioritize test plans and test cases.
Perform functional, integration and regression testing. Perform analysis of functional specifications for accuracy, completeness, ambiguity and testability.
Evaluate, troubleshoot and manually test software repeatedly against requirements in search of bugs and errors to report to the development team.
Be knowledgeable of the needs of the end user, testing scenarios and/or problems they may encounter while using the software.
Review and provide feedback on requirements, design, and scope documents.
Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and development team to identify and refine test requirements.
Create and maintain project-testing schedule to track progress and ensure completion of testing within scheduled timeframes.
Make recommendations for change and continuous improvement of software quality assurance processes and documentation to ensure system readiness prior to product implementation. Ensure suggested changes adhere to all policies, procedures and requirements.
Explore technological innovations, such as using automated testing methods in appropriate situations.
Create standardized departmental test plans to be executed during releases and/or updates of core system.
Participate in change control process and implementation review. This will include supplying verifying approved and tested version of code and final documented requirements.
Identify and initiate fixes for software already in production.
Clearly communicate and supply documented technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner.
Supplies clear and thorough communication on the status of work.

Education Experience And Certification
Experience with all phases of software development utilizing Development Life Cycle practices.
Experience with Jack Henry suite of technologies preferred; specifically Episys, Synapsys, Synergy, and Image Teller Capture.
2-5 Years’ Experience Supporting Business Application Development Required.
High level of computer literacy with spreadsheets, word processing, database software and/or business systems (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, VISIO or other graphic software).
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related field or equivalent work experience.
